PIERCE COUNTY, WA - Owning a home is traditionally seen as part of the "American dream." Whether it's a house with a two-car garage and a white picket fence in the suburbs or a row home in the city, there's generally something out there for everyone. But a new report suggests housing is unaffordable for the typical worker in many of the country's most populous counties.
The report has bad news for Pierce County residents. In a new report published Thursday, ATTOM Data Solutions crunched housing and wage numbers for 473 of the nation's more than 3,000 counties nationwide.
