As we walked through, I was so taken with the lighting in this home, I just had to share. It was SO well done, and made the simpler design in many of the rooms feel so much warmer.
It was the best lighting I've seen in a home, the lighting accents were so innovative throughout.
I wanted to share here on the blog because I was so impressed with how the designers made the lighting fixtures into works of art.
The staircase was just stunning -- usually I'm not a fan of open risers, but all of the details came together so beautifully:
Notice the lights under each step. They make for a beautiful accent from below and functional lighting as you walk up the steps.
The modern orbs that hang from the ceiling reflect off of the stone wall and provided even more light:
