As the novel coronavirus struck the Emerald City and Evergreen State back in March, restaurants and bars shuttered, and upwards of 70 longtime and renowned eateries and drinkeries around Seattle have closed for good.
Alas, restaurants are making creative moves to keep afloat through the remainder of an incredibly unprecedented 2020. Some are stretching to expand outdoor dining, some are curating creative cocktail kits and now, many are launching their annual menus for the famed Seattle Restaurant Week.
Originally scheduled to begin March 29, now seven months later and the Seattle area is finally ready to assist their local businesses in what is a week dedicated to supporting and sampling Emerald City eateries.
